While I have been a huge fan of Google ever since high school, today's class opened my eyes to new searching sites and new searching methods. Quotation marks, Boolean operators, file type specifications, and host searches are elements of searching that I do not use on a regular basis, but should to save time and energy when I search.

Don't let the strange name scare you - this site is great! Instead of emailing myself websites time and time again, I created an account in Filamentality that holds plenty of websites under various categories. Today I focused on my Geohazards elective class. I submitted three sites in which they might find their current event articles, and two sites that can explain information on various geohazards.
